There’s a dual fundraiser taking place near Perth for the South Lanark Community Garden and Lanark Highlands Youth Centre this weekend.
Garden Board Member Sylvia Gagnon tells Lake 88 the idea came about organically.
Sylvia tells Lake 88 the garden donates a lot of what they grow, or sell it for what people can afford, which is a big help nowadays.
The plant sale and barbecue takes place this Saturday from 9am to 1pm at the site of the garden 22-08 Highway 511 north of Balderson.
