Lanark County OPP responded to 580 calls for services last week. That inflated tally can be attributed to calls during last Saturday’s storm when at least 200 came in.
Among the calls were several domestics.
On May 16th, they arrested and charged a 32-year-old Mississippi Mills resident for Spousal Assault. The suspect was kept in custody.
Then on the 18th, another Mississippi Mills resident, this time a 34-year-old, was charged with spousal assault.
Finally on the 21st, a 51-year-old Lanark Highlands resident was charged with spousal assault.
The last two suspects have future court dates to answer to the charges.
Lanark County OPP also investigated 10 non-criminal domestic disputes.
