Carleton Place reminds residents not to burn brush, fallen branches, leftover from storm cleanup

The town of Carleton Place is asking that residents do not burn piles of brush leftover from the storm.

The town only allows small campfires as per the open-air burning bylaw.

If you have had trees, come down as a result of the storm, please follow the town rules to get rid of them. You can call town hall to get more information.

The town is also opening the Compost Yard at 128 Patterson Crescent for residents of Carleton Place from Thursday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

They encourage residents from neighbouring communities to check with their municipalities to see what services are available to them.
