The preliminary trial for Carleton Place man Richard Wheatly in a tiny home fraud case will begin November 15th.
Wheatly faces several counts of fraud for taking deposits for tiny homes that were never built.
He is representing himself.
According to the OPP, 10 separate victims from across the province were discovered during an investigation. More than $500,000 was reported lost by the alleged victims.
Wheatley co-owned tony home builder, Planet Structures Ltd.
The charges against him have not been proven in court.
