Perth’s Committee of the Whole had a discussion about speeders last night, and how to slow them down.
Deputy Mayor and Police Board Chair Ed McPherson said speeding was a major topic at this year’s Ontario Good Roads Conference, and is a complaint often heard by council members.
He says speed blitzes will continue in the town, with consequences.
The police services board requested that council approve using the town’s portable radar sign as a visible deterrent to speeding to help tackle the issue too.
