Carleton Place councillors debated a motion to review the town’s response to the windstorm and resulting lengthy power failures.
Councillor Linda Seccaspina brought the idea of an early review of the town’s reaction forward while details were still fresh.
Pascal Meunier, the town’s director of protective services told Council a review was already underway.
Councillor Toby Randell commented that a separate report to council has its merits.
The motion was carried with the report expected in the near future.
