Brooke Henderson has won her 11th title on the LPGA tour, and she did it in dramatic fashion.
Brooke eagled the first playoff hole against Lyndsey Weaver-Wright. After a perfect drive and approach that landed within feet of the hole, Brooke had a solid putt to take the title, while her opponent shot par on the extra hole.
Brooke told the LPGA, “I knew it was going to take a little bit of magic, and I’m just really happy that I’m sitting here next to the trophy.”
Brooke shot a 12 under overall over the course of the three-day tournament, punctuated by a final round, 5 under 64.
Brooke took home $262,500 for 11th pro tour win, the most by any Canadian in the game’s history.
