Peddling her wares: Transportation Options’ Mursell talks bike month

June is bicycle month in Ontario, and with all of its wonderful trails, paved shoulders, and cycling-friendly communities, it’s no surprise that Lanark County has been designated as a bicycle friendly location.

Louisa Mursell of Transportation Options, a group promoting ideas and innovations for sustainable travel and tourism solutions in Ontario, tells Lake 88 the designation is meant to get people active.

She also says the month raises awareness with the younger generation too, adding it is a great time to get kids interested in cycling too.
