Special session of Perth COW focuses on asset upkeep – there’s work to be done

The agenda of yesterday’s special meeting of Perth council’s committee of the whole focused on the town’s assets and how to fund their upkeep.

Oscar Polini of KPMG LLP told council that Perth was exceeding the provincial standards in their plans to keep municipal services operating.

That means that some interesting talks are in coming up for this and the next council, and specific multi-million dollar budget impacts will be discussed at an upcoming meeting.
