Among the 484 calls for service received by the Lanark County detachment of the OPP were two for alleged impaired drivers.
The first came June 6th.
Kevin Clark a 58-year-old Carleton Place resident was charged with several impaired related offenses after he was stopped on McNeely Ave. in the town. The accused will make a court appearance on July 18th in Perth to answer to these charges.
The on June 9th, 19-year-old Matthew Kitchen from Barrie was was charged with impaired offenses after an investigation into a collision on Pine Grove Road in Lanark Highlands Township. Kitchen makes an appearance in court on the 25th.
The charges against both have not been proven in court.
