Smiths Falls Police have arrested a 67-year-old Smiths Falls woman for uttering threats.
On June 11th, police received a call to a Brockville Street business for a report of a threat being made. Police allege the woman threatened to burn a property of her previous partner after a verbal argument.
Later that night, police arrested 38-year-old Andrew Maloney for impaired driving after receiving a call to William Street East. An investigation revealed a vehicle struck an unoccupied vehicle before fleeing the scene. Police arrested Maloney a short time later.
These charges have not been proven in court.
