Clark signs the oath of office as he is sworn into Doug Ford's Cabinet.
Premier Doug Ford has announced his new, 30-person cabinet.
Many of the cabinet ministers remain in the same portfolios they held during Ford’s last government.
That includes Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark, who remains as municipal affairs and housing minister. Clark took the oath of office this morning and was sworn in.
Among the other members of note: Sylvia Jones is the new deputy premier and health minister replacing Christine Elliott who did not seek re-election.
Stephen Lecce remains in education, Peter Bethlenfalvy is minister of finance, and Caroline Mulroney is transportation minister again.
There are some new faces in cabinet, including Ford’s nephew Michael Ford, who is named minister of citizenship and multiculturalism, and Neil Lumsden, a former Canadian Football League player who won the long-time NDP seat of Hamilton East-Stoney Creek, named as minister of tourism, culture and sport.
He replaces Lisa MacLeod of Ottawa who is out.
