Hit the beach! Health Unit begins testing water of local beaches

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit has stared weekly water sampling of the area’s beaches for another year.

The results of the testing will appear on their website and social media starting on Thursday, June 30^th. Those results will be posted every week until the end of August.

Beaches are sampled once a week and monitored for E. Coli.

They also ask that you remember to bring hand sanitizer so that you can clean your hands frequently, especially before eating.
