Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor to mark Queen’s Jubilee in Carleton Place

The Town of Carleton Place will welcome the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, at a ceremonial tree planting on July 2^nd.

It takes place at 1:45 p.m., in St. James Park on Bell Street and will be in honour of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

A reception will follow at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum at 267 Edmund Street.
