Police in Smiths Falls have arrested and charged a mother and son for using counterfeit US money.
We first told you about this last week.
After an investigation Smiths Falls Police found and arrested 48-year-old, Wanetta Generoux of Lanark, and her son, 29-year-old, Joel Closs for possessing counterfeit money.
They later carried out a search warrant at a Center Street address and found more of the funny money, all in US bills.
Both are charged with possession of counterfeit money, and Closs faces an additional charge of failing to comply with a probation order.
The pair was held for a bail hearing, the charges against them haven’t been proven in court.
