We could find out next week when fourth doses of COVID-19 vaccines become available for all in Ontario.
Our province’s top doctor, Kieran Moore, says they are considering expanding eligibility for fourth doses of COVID-19 vaccines to people under 60 years of age.
But the Chief medical officer of health says he is most concerned about the number of people who have not had a third dose yet, and is urging anyone who hasn’t to get the booster.
Dr. Moore could call for the 4th dose to be administered within weeks, ahead of a surge in cases that many have predict for the fall.
