Ontario is expanding eligibility for fourth doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to include all adults.
When we last spoke with our medical officer of health, Dr. Paula Stewart, she said she was in favour of the fourth shot, but….
Anyone aged 18 and older will be able to book a fourth shot starting today. You can get a fourth dose five months after your third.
You can also wait until the fall when a new vaccine that targets the latest variants of Omicron is expected to be available.
Our province is currently experiencing a summer wave of virus infections driven by the BA.5 Omicron subvariant.
