No empty promises: returns to the Beer Store to benefit healthcare in Almonte

Residents in and around Almonte can donate their empties to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation.

You just take them to the Beer Store in the town and let them know you want to donate the cash instead of pocketing it.

Last year the campaign brought in close to $700.

It runs until August 28^th this time around.

All funds raised by the foundation go to purchase equipment and supplies for the hospital and manor.
