Lake 88 reported last week what’s happening when it comes to Perth, Smiths Falls, and Carleton Place when it comes to the race for mayor ahead of the fall election.
We thought we’d check in with some of the other municipalities in the area and see who’s running for the top chair.
In Montague, Vince Carroll is running for Reeve. In Drummond/North Elmsley, Steve Fournier is seeking re-election as Reeve. Also seeking re-election is Mississippi Mills Mayor Christa Lowry.
No one has declared they’re running for Reeve in Lanark Highlands, Tay Valley, or Beckwith as of yet.
