The blank canvas: Have an idea for a mural here?
The Town of Smiths Falls is calling all artists to apply to create a lasting impression by designing and painting a new mural next to the parkette being built next to Shoppers Drug Mart off Beckwith Street.
Manager of Economic Development and Tourism, Julia Crowder says the “Artscape Parkette” as it will be known will really make a difference.
Crowder says the mural will be the crown jewel of the project.
And the mural kicks off a new direction for the town.
Artists interested in applying should get their applications in no later than this Friday at noon to Julia at jcrowder@smithsfalls.ca.
