New high-risk COVID-19 cases topped 100 last week in LLG, hospitalization rise by one

The Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit reports that they added 126 new high-risk cases of COVID-19 last week.

They’re starting that count again today.

The number of local COVID-19 hospitalizations has increased by one over the weekend. There are five being treated in hospital, with one in the ICU. None are on ventilators.

As for outbreaks, there remain four. All are in congregate care facilities.
