109th COVID-19 related death reported by LLG HU

After several weeks, the Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit has reported a COVID-19 related death. The total since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 is now 109.

There are currently six people in hospital due to the virus, with one in the ICU. That’s up by two since Monday. None are ventilated.

The total new high-risk case count sits at 140.

As for outbreaks, there are now six, also an increase of two from the last report. All are in congregate care facilities.
