Grenville OPP have welcomed two students to their Youth in Policing Initiative, which is put on in partnership with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
Justin Schmitz and Nejmee Farhat will be taking part in a six-week program to promote youth participation through educational, cultural and diverse work experiences.
The goal is to strengthen relationships between police and community.
The students will take part in community initiatives, and be trained in a wide array of police business, giving them a firsthand look at the skills needed to be a police officer.
