We’ll hear more about how well-behaved people were on the roads over the long weekend in the coming days.
For now, the OPP has shared that a 50-year-old man from Ottawa has been charged with a number of offences after an incident in Beckwith.
The OPP tweeted that the man failed to stop for Lanark County officers after he was speeding on Friday.
He was eventually stopped and now faces charges of dangerous driving, driving while prohibited, flight from police and other offences.
We should hear the results of the OPP’s provincial-wide move over blitz later this week.
