Positive numbers from Health Unit in last COVID-19 report of the week

There are positive numbers in the latest COVID-19 surveillance report from the Health Unit.

There are now just five virus-related hospitalizations in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville and just one in an ICU.

The number of fatalities has held steady at 109 since the pandemic began.

The number of confirmed high-risk cases for the week is up by eight to 150. That’s a slower pace than last week.

The number of outbreaks is up to nine from eight. All are in congregate care facilities, while one is listed in the “other” category.
