It never ends: The OPP is out with another scam warning.
This time they say that their detachments have seen an increase in fake bank investigator frauds.
The scam involves crooks pretending to be bank people calling victims and asking for information like your ATM card PIN numbers.
They also do things like ask you to leave your bank cards somewhere for staff to pick up.
Don’t do it. Banks don’t engage in these practices.
If you get such a call, call police or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and report it.
