MPP John Jordan discusses hospital staff shortages, closures

Staff shortages across Ontario hospitals continue to create issues in all corners of healthcare including emergency departments.

MPP for Lanark-Frontenac Kingston John Jordan tells Lake 88 a long-lasting fix has to be found.

Jordan says anytime a hospital has to close a department, it’s very concerning.

He says he understands the challenges behind making the decision to close ER’s, like they did in Perth and Carleton Place.
