The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is now offering the ability to track infectious disease data on their website.
They say interest in tracking such data by the public has greatly increased since COVID-19, and now offer a dedicated dashboard for it called Diseases of Public Health Significance.
They say tracking such trends are important but must be done confidentially to protect the privacy of individuals so a balance must be struck.
The dashboard will be updated every second Wednesday and include information about monthly and annual trends, reported cases and their demographics.
