Tomorrow is International Overdose Awareness Day.
The Smiths Falls Police is inviting the public to join them to talk about the issue with a special Coffee with our Community awareness event.
The public is invite to join them at the Smiths Falls Starbucks tomorrow (Aug. 31st) from 10 am – noon.
Other community partners will be taking about how they are working together to reduce the number of overdoses in our community.
The event is being put on through the collaborative efforts of the SFPS, Lanark County Paramedics, Victim Services Lanark County, The LGL Health Unit, Lanark County Mental Health, Addictions and Mental Health of LGL, and Starbucks.
All are welcome.
