Dr. Linna Li, Medical Officer of Health for the LGLHU
Lanark, Leeds and Grenville’s new Medical Officer of Health is now on the job.
Dr. Linna Li tells us she’s familiar with the area, and loves the way we treat one another.
Dr. Li is looking forward to learning more about the communities she now serves and the people in them.
Li is familiar with our area having attended Queen’s University in Kingston and worked for our health unit at the beginning of her career.
The doctor also says the health unit is going through a period of change.
She succeeds Dr. Paula Stewart who officially entered retirement on September 1st. Dr. Stewart told us she knows Dr. Li and feels she’s a perfect fit.
