Former MPP Randy Hillier has had his provincial court case involving a “No More Lockdowns” rally in Smiths Falls adjourned until next month.
The former Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston member of provincial parliament was ticketed for organizing the rally which went against provincial pandemic rules back in May of 2021.
The case has been before the courts sine August of 2021 and was last before the courts on August 23rd.
Smiths Falls Police alleged that he organized the event at Lower Reach Park contrary to the provincial Reopening Ontario Act.
It will next be before a judge on Oct. 25 at 10 a.m.
There’s been no comment from Hillier’s legal team as of yet.
