A rainfall warning is in effect for the entirety of the Lake 88 listening area.
Environment Canada reports that rainfall amounts of between 40-60 mm are expected by the time its done late tonight or early tomorrow morning.
Higher amounts are possible in parts of the the listening area where multiple thunderstorms are a possibility.
They warn that heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. So get your sump pumps ready and give yourself extra time if you have to head out on the roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is also a possibility.
