Lanark County residents have come through again, in a big way.
The Kidney Walk in Perth and Smiths Falls brought in $11,985, blowing by their goal of $10,000.
They had hoped to raise $650,000 across all their walks in the province, and that goal too was easily surpassed.
They’re at $705,230 and counting.
The Kidney Foundation says all money collected will be directed to provide both hope and help for their patients through research.
The organization is thanking all who took part or donated to make this year’s endeavor the success it was.
