Registration for the first ever Iron Maidens: Lanark County Female Firefighting Camp is now finished.
The camp is a free, immersive introduction to the world of firefighting for self-identifying females ages 15-20 in the county.
Participants will learn and practice a variety of firefighting skills including hands-on activities using personal protective equipment, self-contained breathing apparatuses, auto extraction tools, aerial ladder operations, hose control, search and rescue, and more.
It takes place on Friday and Saturday.
