Tuesday morning saw a brief hold and secure come into place at Perth’s St. John’s Catholic High School.
An email issued out to parents said the mandate was called after a threat was made by a student “involving a knife.”
The hold and secure lasted for 20 minutes starting at 10:15.
In the letter, the school said all students and staff are safe, classroom doors were locked, and the OPP were able to deal with the situation safely outside of the school.
