The 2022 Build A Mountain of Food Campaign kicks off tomorrow benefiting the Food Banks in Almonte and Carleton Place.
Tammy Parent with the Lanark County Food Bank in Carleton Place says they’ve seen a 32% increase in people using the food bank over last year.
They’ll be at Independent in Almonte, and Giant Tiger and Independent in Carleton place from 9-5 tomorrow. Donations of food or cash are very much appreciated.
Note: FreshCo will be supporting Build a Mountain of Food this year, but on the following week… Saturday, November 12th… so please support them on that date! Thank you!
