It was a night of inaugurations across the County last night as several communities witnessed the swearing in of new municipal councils.
In Perth, Town Clerk Susan Beckel placed the chain of office on Mayor Judy Brown after administering the oath of office.
Brown’s hopes for the town’s future were founded on residents working together.
Councillors Dave Bird, Jim Boldt, Isabel Anne McRae, Barry Smiths, and Gary Waterfield also took the oath of office to serve this term.
