Perth council’s first committee of the whole meeting quickly went to the dogs on Tuesday as their first public delegation was a group proposing a new off-leash park.
Spokesperson of the Friends of Leash Free Dog Park Perth, Tania Cadeau, outlined for the new Perth Council exactly what they’d like.
It would be a 5-6 acre fenced-in, leash free spot at Last Duel Park.
Council hasn’t decided on it yet.
The previous council had instructed staff to prepare a report on an off-leash dog park, but that has yet to be completed.
