Seasons Greetings: Festive Ride Campaigns are back for another year

The Festive RIDE campaign is now on in Lanark County and Smiths falls.

The annual provincial police enforcement and education initiative is aimed at taking alcohol and drug-impaired drivers off our roads during the holiday season.

It’s on now until January 2, 2023.

You can expect to see an increased police presence as officers conduct RIDE initiatives at any time of day, seven days per week.

The annual campaign is led by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police in collaboration with local police services to keep roads free of alcohol-impaired and drug-impaired drivers.
