Bring that food! Build A Mountain of Food Campaign to hit Westport and Elgin

The annual Build a Mountain of Food Campaign makes stops in Westport and Elgin tomorrow.

The Westport Food Bank’s Steve Curry says every little bit helps, and cash donations are always welcome.

Pastor Bob Crump of the Elgin Food Bank says they are dealing with a busy, busy time and everyone is feeling the crunch – even food banks.

Volunteers will be taking your donations at Gordanier Freshmart in Elgin from 9 until noon, then noon until 4 at Kudrinkos in Westport.

Next week they’re in Portland and Merrickville.
