Pop-Up Protests in Smiths Falls and Brockville over Bill 23

There’s a pop-up protest taking place tomorrow at 11 am on the Southwest corner of Cornerlia St. W. And Elsmley St. N. In Smiths Falls.

The protest is against Bill 23 – the province’s bill aimed at building new homes quicker.

Climate Network Lanark is organizing the protest. They say the Bill threatens their ability to tackles the climate crisis.

There will also be a protest against the bill at Housing Minister Steve Clark’s Brockville office today. It takes placed at 1:00 at 100 Strowger Blvd.
