The restructuring at Canopy Growth continues.
The Smiths Falls-based company has laid off 55 employees, and will break out its Canadian Cannabis operations into a standalone business.
A spokesperson says the move is meant to continue on the path towards profitability.
Where the workers were located was not disclosed.
As part of the shakeup, Dave Paterson was named President of Canadian Operations.
