The local junior hockey seasons are in full swing and our rinks will be filled with great hockey action this weekend.
Friday: In the CCHL, the Navan Grads are in the Den in Smiths Falls for a 7:30pm game against the Bears. The Carleton Place Canadians travel to Kemptville for a 7:30pm tilt against the 73’s.
In the EOJHL, the White-water Kings are at the Perth Arena for a 7:30pm contest against the Blue Wings.
The Clarence Castors roll into Westport for a tilt against the Rideau’s in Jr C action. This is a 7:30pm start.
Saturday: In the EOJHL: The Athens Aeros take on the Smiths Falls Jr. B Bears. Puck drop is 3:30pm in SF. The Carleton Place Jr. B Canadians tangle with the Perth Blue Wings. Game time is 8:15 at the Neelin Street Arena.
In Jr. C play, The Westport Rideaus tangle with Vankleek Hill Cougars at 7:30 in Hawkesbury. The Almonte Inferno face the South Grenville Rangers. This is a 7:45pm start in Cardinal.
The Senior “A” Rideau’s take on Deseronto Bulldogs. Game time is 7:30 pm at the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre.
Sunday: In the CCHL the Hawkesbury Hawks are in Carleton Place at 3:00 pm against the Canadians. The Smiths Falls Bears host the Brockville Braves at 2:pm in SF.
Meanwhile, over in Jr. B, the Brockville Tikis are in Athens for a 2:30pm start in a Jr B matinee. The Smiths Falls Jr. B Bears are in Perth for a 3:00 pm game against the Blue Wings. The Carleton Place Jr. B Canadians are in Eganville against Valley. Puck drop is 6:00 pm.
In Jr. C action the Metcalfe Jets travel to Almonte for a 12:15pm start.
