If you’re checking out our site before heading out for the day, you should know that there’s a Fog Advisory in effect for Perth, Smiths Falls, and eastern Lanark County.
Environment Canada says we can expect to see locally dense fog this morning. It is expected to lift a little later on.
It means that visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero if you’re out and about.
Be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility during your morning commute or drive to school with the kids.
If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Do not turn on your high-beams they are not effective in foggy situations.
