It’s another busy weekend in our local Junior Hockey rinks. Here’s the rundown.
Friday: In the CCHL, the Nepean Raiders are in the Den in Smiths Falls for a 7:30pm game against the Bears. The Carleton Place Canadians host the Ottawa Jr. Senators for a 7:45pm tilt in CP.
Over in the EOJHL, the Athens Aeros are at the Perth Arena for a 7:30pm contest against the Blue Wings. The Smiths Falls Jr, B Bears are in Arnprior at 7:30pm.
The North Dundas Rockets roll into Westport for a tilt against the Rideau’s in Jr C action. This is a 7:30pm start.
Saturday: In Jr B, the Athens Aeros take on the Smiths Falls Jr. B Bears. Puck drop is 8pm in Athens. The Carleton Place Jr. B Canadians tangle with the Whitewater Kings. Game time is 8pm in Cobden.
Over in the Jr. C league The Almonte Inferno face the Gatineau Hull Volant. This is a 7:15pm start in Almonte.
The Senior “A” Rideaus have a bye week.
Sunday: In the CCHL, the Brockville Braves are in Carleton Place at 3pm against the Canadians. The Smiths Falls Bears are at the PMC in Pembroke for a 7pm contest against the Lumber Kings.
Meanwhile, over in Jr. B, the Whitewater Kings are in Athens for a 2:30pm start in a Jr B matinee. The Smiths Falls Jr.B Bears host the Carleton Place Jr.B Canadians Puck drop is 2pm. The Perth Blue Wings are in Eganville against Valley. Puck drop is 6pm.
In Jr. C action, the December Showcase is on in Westport all day long. North Dundas plays Almonte at 3:30pm and Westport tangles with Gatineau Hull Volants at 6pm. All games will be played at the WTC Communications Centre in Westport.
