Build a Mountain of Food Campaign wraps up 2022 efforts with stops in Delta and Athens

The Build a Mountain of Food campaign has wrapped for another year.

They made stops in Athens and Delta this past Saturday to collect donations for the Athens Food Bank and Delta Food Bank.

In Athens, they collected 1,300 pounds of food, and we’re still waiting for cash donations to be totalled up.
In Delta, it was 315 pounds of food and just under $2,000.

We expect to have overall totals in the coming days. Donations usually continue to come in, in the days and weeks after the campaign stops in a community.
