A couple weeks ago we told you about cash going to hospitals in Lanark County for infrastructure repairs. This time around it’s Leeds-Grenville’s turn.
Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark has announced just over $1.2 million for the Kemptville District Hospital, just over $680,000 for the Brockville General Hospital, and a little more than $11,000 for Country Roads Community Health Centre.
The province is providing millions to hospitals and community health service providers through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
The money allows them to address urgent infrastructure renewal needs such as upgrades or replacements of roofs, windows, security systems, fire alarms and back-up generators.
