Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston MPP John Jordan has announced more than $525,000 in capital grant funding through the Ontario Trillium Foundation to help 6 non-profit organizations in the riding deliver community support programs.
“Non-profit organizations deliver programs that make a huge difference in peoples’ lives. They are the backbone of Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston,” said Jordan in announcing the money. “These local investments keep our communities strong, vibrant and growing, with services and programs that are tailored to meet residents needs,” he added.
These grants will support organizations that are making a positive impact in communities throughout the province.
The money goes to Montague Township for Rosedale Hall, to make the new play and parking areas more accessible. Perth gets money to replace the Mill Street Playground.
Tay Valley will see funding to upgrade Maberly Hall, and the Carleton Place Youth Centre gets funding for some much-needed renovations.
Also getting funding is Central Frontenac Township for an outdoor sports court, and the Rural Frontenac Community Services gets money for building improvements.
