Not to be outdone by neighbouring communities, the Town of Carleton Place has some free public activities over the holidays, in case you’re looking for some family fun.
There will be skating several times throughout the season at the Neelin St. Arena thanks to local businesses sponsoring the ice time. The first is on the afternoon of Tuesday Dec. 27th from 1:00 until 2:00.
There are also free swims at the Carleton Place Pool. The first is also on the 27th. It goes from 1:30 to 2:30.
