The Town of Smiths Falls is thanking all the busineses and local organizations that sponsored one of 13 decorated trees at the town’s Celebration of Lights in Centennial Park.
It’s paid off for the Salvation Army too.
Mayor Shawn Pankow presented the proceeds of the sponsorship to Major Gary Reilly – just shy of $4,000.
The proceeds will be going to help out families in need this holiday season through the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper Campaign.
You still have time to check out the lights at the base of the water tower. They’ll be lit until January 7th.
